9.6 miles up and back down a superb valley, with lakes and pine forest and bare, dramatic crags far above. You will be walking at over 3,000m.
In Estes Park. Starts at the Glacier Gorge Trailhead.
This is a tough walk in high, remote mountains, where altitude can cause problems. Come prepared.
