It's about 4 hours from the parking lot to the lake. Good winter hike. When I was there there was a wood stove in a picnic shelter beside the lake. The walls were plexiglassed for the winter. Cordwood in a crib. For emergencies or parks board crews I guess. I've rolled out my bag in there but you're not supposed to. Watch for rolling boulders if it's raining or thawing.
