About Vietnam

Vietnam has superb hill walking all along the jungle-wreathed, mountainous spine of its western flank, but especially in its far north-west. Much of it is inhabited by tribes who still live poor but very unsullied lives in valleys and clearings.

There is also a wonderful diversity of vegetation and animal life to be admired.

We intend that our walk pages contain detail and photos on walking, hiking or trekking routes, including books, best times and weather, how to get there, possible problems, walking, trekking and hiking firms, organisers and guides in Vietnam, accommodation in Vietnam and useful links. But this takes a lot of research, so if they are not "there" yet, please give us any suggestions you may have.
