Pyin U Lwin
Key information: Pyin U Lwin
- Day walks around a colonial-era hill station.
- Various places outside town are worth visiting, including the splendid Anisakan Falls and Pwe Kauk Falls. Both are quite near the road, but longer treks can be built round them and a selection of Shan villages.
- Not worth coming far for, but lovely if in the area. Two to three hours from Mandalay, and cooler than Mandalay - great in summer but on the cold side in winter.
