WALK SUMMARY

This remote valley east of Harar is home to rock towers and pillars carved by the winds into very peculiar shapes. It is an intriguing place to explore on foot for a few hours, reminiscent of some of the weird wonders of Utah in the USA.

The best start-point is on the Harar-Jigjia road, a bit east of Babille.
